Adopting a pet is not for everyone.
Pets require:
- Love and lots attention
- Food and water
- A clean place to potty
- Patience
- $$$
With that said, I believe pets are a wonderful gift to humans! Sadly many pets are never matched with humans. So I wanted to take some time today to tell you about my story. I was born and my Momma could not take care of my siblings and me. I am not sure, but I was told I was a little kitten found in an alley. Someone took me to a place called an animal shelter. It was like this local animal shelter where the nice humans cleaned me, gave me food and a place to stay. I saw so many other cats there. Many were young like me but there were a lot of older cats. I was happy to not be in an alley but I was also scared and confused.
One day some humans came to visit. These particular humans looked at me and said I like this one – meaning me! Another human opened my cage and several humans held me and gave me pets. I was excited and happy to be wanted. It was so nice. I felt instant love and it was so good. To make a long story short, these humans filled out some paper work, paid a small fee and took me to their home and I became their pet. They named me Olive. I think because of my eyes. I am just so happy they picked me!!
I know adopting a pet is not for all humans. However, if you are thinking about it consider sharing my blog with others.
Love,
Olive
